Abstract:
Objective To observe the effect of psychological nursing intervention on negative emotion and quality of life in patients with heart valve replacement.
Methods A total of 81 patients with valvular heart disease who were treated by heart valve replacement in Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University from January of 2016 to December of 2018 were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received psychological nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. HAMA and HAMD scores at different time points, SF-36 scores before and after nursing and nursing satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups.
Results HAMA and HAMD scores of observation group before surgery, at discharge and 1 month after discharge were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The SF-36 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group after nursing (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction score of observation group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention can effectively relieve negative emotions of patients with heart valve replacement, improve their quality of life and nursing satisfaction, and has clinical value of promotion.
