Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of amiodarone combined with metoprolol tartrate in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction complicated with rapid arrhythmia.
Methods A total of 104 patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with rapid arrhythmia treated in Jiaozhou People's Hospital from May of 2016 to June of 2017 were selected and divided into control group and experimental group, 52 cases in each group. On the basis of routine treatment, the control group was treated with amiodarone, and the experimental group was treated with amiodarone combined with metoprolol tartrate. Both groups were treated for one month. The therapeutic effect, adverse reactions and cardiac function, including left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) before and after treatment for 1 month were compared between the two groups.
Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 90.38%, higher than that of the control group 69.23% (P<0.05). The level of LVEF after 1 month of treatment was higher than that before treatment, and that in experimental group was higher than control group (P<0.05). The level of LVESD and LVEDD after 1 month of treatment were lower than those before treatment, and those in experimental group were lower than control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 13.46% in the experimental group and 9.62% in the control group, and there was no significant difference (P>0.05).
Conclusion Amiodarone combined with metoprolol tartrate has a good effect in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction complicated with rapid arrhythmia, can improve cardiac function with good safety.
