Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of Bushen Huoxue acupuncture combined with Taijiquan movement on the improvement of symptoms and quality of life in patients with stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease.
Methods Ninety-one patients with stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(CHD) in our hospital from January 2015 to May 2017 were randomly divided into the observation group (n=46) and the control group (n=45). On the basis of routine treatment, the control group was treated with Bushen Huoxue acupuncture, while the observation group was given Bushen Huoxue acupuncture combined with Taijiquan.The improvement of symptoms and the quality of life (SAQ) score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.
Results Compared with the control group, the scores of angina attack, duration, pain degree and nitroglycerin dosage in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in SAQ scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). After treatment, the SAQ scores of the two groups were improved (P<0.05), and the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).
Conclusion Bushen Huoxue acupuncture combined with Taijiquan can effectively relieve the symptoms of angina pectoris in patients with stable angina pectoris, and improve the quality of life in patients with stable angina pectoris of CHD.
