Abstract:
Objective To investigate the value of computerized tomography angiography (CTA) in clinical diagnosis of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris.
Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with suspected coronary heart disease and angina pectoris in the cardiovascular medicine department from January of 2016 to July of 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. All the patients were given CTA and coronary angiography (CAG) examination. The CAG results were taken as the reference, the clinical effects of CTA in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris were assessed.
Results There was no statisticcal difference in the detection rate of different branches of coronary vessels by CTA and CAG (P>0.05). The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of CTA were 90.51% (124/137), 93.16% (245/263), 92.25% (369/400).
Conclusion CTA has high consistency with CAG in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris, but CTA has the advantages of convenient operation and non-invasiveness, and it can be used as an effective means for clinical screening of patients with suspected angina pectoris.
