Abstract:

Objective

To analyze the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in nursing of diabetes mellitus complicated with myocardial infarction.

Methods

A total of 88 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with myocardial infarction admitted to Peking University International Hospital from January 2016 to January 2017 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, 44 cases in each group. The patients in the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention, while those in the control group received routine nursing intervention. The nursing satisfaction and quality-of-life scores were compared between two groups.

Results

The nursing satisfaction of the control group was 81.82% (36/44) and that of the observation group was 95.45% (1/44). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in quality-of-life scores before nursing between two groups (P>0.05). The quality-of-life scores after nursing in the two groups were higher than those before nursing, and the score of observation group was higher than control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion

For patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with myocardial infarction, comprehensive nursing can improve patients' nursing satisfaction and quality of life, which is worthy of popularization and application.
