Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the effect of deslanoside injection combined with metoprolol tartrate on patients with acute left heart failure and atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular rate.

Methods

Seventy-four patients with acute left heart failure and atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular rate treated in Jiaozhou People's Hospital from May of 2016 to March of 2017 were selected and divided into control group and observation group, 37 cases in each group. On the basis of routine treatment, the control group was treated with deslanoside injection, while the observation group was treated with deslanoside injection combined with metoprolol tartrate. The curative effect, ventricular rate, QT interval and cardiac function, including cardiac output (CO) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.

Results

The effective rate of observation group was 94.59% (35/37), higher than that of control group 72.97% (27/37), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in QT interval between the two groups after treatment (P>0.05). The ventricular rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the LVEF and CO in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion

Deslanoside injection combined with metoprolol tartrate has a significant effect in the treatment of acute left heart failure with rapid ventricular rate atrial fibrillation, can effectively restore the patient's ventricular rate, improve cardiac function.
